Andy, our Board Chair, has a deep love for the mission of Glass Hearts. He was separated from his birth father at an early age and grew up as an Army brat…there were always challenges to a stable school and home life. This left a deep impression and a passion to be the best dad he could be. When Andy and Rick connected around 2008, they both knew that it was their calling to help serve young men. As Glass Hearts came into focus, Andy was a natural fit to help on the Board of Directors and ultimately as our Board Chair.
Andy is a professional engineer and co-owner of Cole Garner Geotechnical, a local engineering firm. Andy is constantly on the move with his wife helping to shuttle their three children to school, sporting events, band concerts, and more. He is the Scoutmaster in his son’s Boy Scout Troop, is active in the Sons of the American Legion, and volunteers as a veteran guardian with Rock Mountain Honor Flight. When he does get some spare time, Andy enjoys most outdoor activities, playing golf, and attending local sporting events and concerts.
